ok so ive got this oldschool dell poweredge 600sc and Ive been replacing the parts one at a time (mostly from other computers) to try and get it to work.
the issue is when I power it on, the fans start up then die. then sometimes it will stay spinning, but still has no display at all.
new, but refurbished mobo, LED is on
new ECC memory
I have a power supply tester, power supply is fine, i tried with a different one, no change
one solid strip of jumpers, no way to get that wrong
I tried another P4 processor, new thermal compound
fucking thing has no audio so I cant get any beep code, no audio jack nothing. I get a light near the ram when I go and boot the comp, but the ram is brand fucking new, ECC pc2100, exactly what its supposted to take.
specialty dell cpu fan, seems fine but I cant be certain it works perfectly

another note: it worked once, I got bios display, but then went right back to the origional 3-seconds-of-fans-then-die problem
im thinking its then POS refurbished mobo. I cant find a manual for it no matter how hard I look.
