Half Life 2 Steam Privacy Policy and FAQ

This is a bizarre argument. When you register for credit cards, make purchases, vote for people, live where you live, turn ages, your ARE statistical data, and it's already bought and sold. Where's the problem?

The problem is legalities have forced modern organizations to have higher transparency in these operations which some people react negatively too.

Steam is not about to tell the RIAA you have mp3s on your comp. They're just saying a Steam member who was 27 years old, bought the Silver package, and so did 75% of his age group. This majority tends to have a computer setup of this nature.. etc etc. Boring aggregate data, nothing more.
