For some reason when i downloaded the newest drivers for my 9800xt i get errors about directx 9 for every game i try to run. Then the games dont run at all.
uninstall the drivers and all associated software
get drivercleaner.net
clean up any messy bits left behind by old drivers
install newest drivers
everything should work
if not, repeat above, but uninstall directX after you uninstall the drivers
then run driver cleaner
then install directX9 again
and then install the drivers
