what made you end up buying it if it didn't feel right?

the guitar i picked up last was a fender mexi tele. they're pretty cheap and boast having a really bright, full sound. it replaced an ibanez rg that i wasn't really satisfied with, mostly because i didn't take advantage of the tremolo much.

I rented a sweet acoustic for 2 months..
but upon return, they didn't have any eletrics I wanted to get started on..

Went to pawnshop and bought the best I could find wif my pricerange :eek:

I got a peavey 158 Blazer (wif reverb and distort), wires and case, and a guitar all for the ripe price of 220 bucks..
 
get any cash during xmas that you could toss towards a better guitar?

it's a bummer when your equipment just isn't up to par. i was pretty discouraged when i grew out of my first guitar and had no money to put towards a new one.
