getting MOD info

I know this has been covered before (sorry) but how does the client retrieve info about the current MOD being played?

t1: its in the join screen... if you scroll to the right u can see it

t2 dunno


but as far as t1 is concerned, if its gay, its a mod so theres a hint

I'm talking about a function or variable I can check from within a script to learn the current mod. T2 btw.
