Yes well our constitution has freedom of speech.
Freedom of expression = freedom of speech.
right to bear arms is not as it is your constitution. We have the right to bear arms but it is supervised (as in you need a qualification to be allowed posses fire arms). In addition, all firearms need to be registered (they're not in many cases).
I'd say our constitution is decent, however very outdated in cyber era. Not as outdates as yours though. It's good in terms of keeping the jurisdiction under relative control (currently we're prosecuting crooked cops that were head of departments etc.) However, our politicians don't really seem to understand the constitution and many of their intended laws get stuck from proceeding because of the constitution. (like our healthcare reform).
I do feel like the main strength of our country comes from civil obedience and very homogenous population. We look after each other and most of the population follow the instructions very well. for example if there's no-one to penalise you for not paying your train ticket, over 90% will still pay the ticket. Also not much corruption (or it's well hidden
). Personal anecdote, I lost my wallet into a night club, I went there the next evening and the staff gave it to me. I had over 200 dollars in there and none was stolen, and the staff hadn't found it but another customer from the toilet....
And about guns, we might have one shoot out in the whole country during any one year. More than one is very rare (might become more common, we had a duo of swedish gangster shooting cops last year... the organised crime is much bigger in Sweden than it is in here). Last time a cop shot a criminal was in the 90s and it was a big sensation... (as far as I am aware).
