So I have had very bad QBing all year, yet I am still in 3rd place, not bad. However after another bad week from my QB last week(Big Ben, cut already for Matt Ryan) I need a better option. A guy in my league has both Kurt Warner and Peyton Manning and is willing to deal Warner. We are going back and forth trying to get a deal done as he has no true RB.

Matt Ryan, Burress, Fitzgerald, Forte, Gore, Dallas Clark, Tim Hightower, Orton, Bowe, Ryan Grant, Cedric Benson, Kevin curtis, Green-Ellis

His team
Manning, Randy Moss, Steve Smith, Kevin Smith, Mewelde Moore, Desmond Clark, Wes Welker, Kurt Warner, Derrick Mason, Leon Washington, Mushin Muhammad, Sammy Morris, Tatum Bell

Guys I don't wanna trade: Gore, Forte, Fitz, Clark.

What would you offer up?

He seems to like grant and hightower, butI have reservations about dealing them both....
 
now that the bye weeks are done, depth is not important. trading 2 ppl off your bench for warner would be ok.
 
though if it were me. I'd be content with matt ryan vs saints and bucs for the playoffs, i guess depends on how much he wants.
 
I am not quite sold on Ryan, he is winning me over though. This is a keep league which is why I am reluctant to give up hightower mainly.

I offered Burress, Hightower, Grant for Wes Welker and Warner. Welker will give me sold points at my flex spot and Warner has been money. Burress I have been wanting to deal.

Sound good?
 
you're basically renting warner for a few games and gaining wes welker while giving up burress...hightower...and grant??

thats an awful risk in a keeper league imo
 
We are keeping 2-3 players I figured gore/forte as keepers, possibly Ryan if he pans out...

Grant has been a disappointment and has been on my bench all year and Hightower is on a passing team, so he wont always have huge games.

Burress is hard to trade, however after this year I kinda wanna deal him. This league gives you points per reception, so Welker would be worth his weight in gold....
