dual screen (monitor + tv) help

when i drag a movie to the tv side (or whichever is not set as default monitor) the movie gets very choppy especially while in full screen. it was working when i first set it up, then it got choppy, now i can only see a black box

anybody know how i can fix this? any settings i have to change?

Are you dragging it while the movie is playing? Stop the movie, then drag, then start it again.

well i disabled it and enabled it again and opened the file from the tv and it works so im not sure which did it but im not testing

the fact that it's black on the other screen has to do with overlay settings, check the advanced properties settings of your gfx. Maybe list your videocard and stuff

setting the tv to primary should fix that if you use an nvidia card.

What card do you have anyway?
