If I remember correctly, it's basically a firing range somewhere in the midwest where the prairie dog population is really high and they carry disease that can transfer to humans. They use 50 cal sniper rifles on the little prairie dogs.

They are prarie(sp) dogs, not groundhogs. They use special rounds that cause the animal to expload on impact. The things destroy crops and are a huge pest to farmers, but are hard to get rid of.
