So I have a 27" Nixeus monitor that never had any issues until today. Powered my up PC and my screen was unusually dark and flickering. There was also a faint hum whenever it was powered on.

I unplugged the power cable directly from the back of the monitor and plugged it back in, screen got brighter but it still flickered and the hum was still there.

Next I unplugged the power brick power cable directly from the brick, and when I plugged it back in the monitor would not power back on. I'm gonna hope that it's the brick because this monitor was 400+ bucks when I bought it and it's out of manufacturer warranty.

It's dead, Jim.

Is this a real 27 or a Korean rebrand if its 27 and unknown most likely Korean using a dell panel or NEC etc

Probably dead due to cheap quality

This is why u don't buy cheap Korean catleap etc. Just get a dell ultrsharp or pay for a NEC etc I always say this and I either get two responses some idiot talking about 144hz benq/Asus or some guy saying to get a Korean

Heh
