On a related note, my mate got the ones that you put in at night, take out in the morning and they correct your vision for the period of itme you DON'T have them in... he says they're awesome. Who needs a warp engine when science can do shit like that.

They are supposed to reshape the cornea so that they are shaped more like the cornea of a normal-sighted person.
