confirmed address on paypal?

I bought something off of eBay and when I went to pay for it via paypal, they said I had to have a confirmed address.

So I said ok, confirmed my address, got the confirmation email and everything. Try to pay again for that stuff, tells me once again i need to add a confirmed address.

Do I have to verify it somewhere in paypal?

What's going on?
 
um.. it's explained on their website. Reading is your friend. IIRC, however, to confirm you have to give them a checking acct # or something and then they put a few cents into your account and you have to go to their site and enter how much the deposits were.
 
it wasn't that, i'm verified on paypal and all that. they make a small deposit for you to become verified

paypal just wasn't acknowledging that I had confirmed my address yet. Just went through, but took an hour or so.
