not a parody.

I killed my Geforce 3 yesterday when I dropped my CPU's heatsink on it. I don't see any visible damnage to it, but when I start my PC I get wierd graphics problems. Lines throught the screen, then 2d artifacts in windows, and 3d is all messed up.

I ordered an ATI 9700 Pro.

Har har har! Not to admit too much but I learned that same lesson the hard way. :(

Always lay the machine down when you're working on it!

And in other news. I talked to the folks at Gainward and they're going to RMA my card! YES! (My dead card, a GF3ti200, died of natural causes. The card I killed with a dropped HSF was an old GF2mx about 2 years ago).
