Great bowl season everyone. It was up to the last game, with only a 29 point difference between first and fourth place. Just one game really, which when you come down to it is luck. On that note, we are all winners, with the true reward being the friends we have made along the way. Nigga please just kidding, Cancer won, he got the most points its how this works.
As a whole, everyone did really well this year picking their wins. Last year, we got an average of 48% right, this year its up to 59%. A 10 point jump is quite solid. For perspective, we tend to vary wildly year to year.
2013: 60%
2014: 46%
2015: 52%
2016: 59%
2017: 48%
2018: 59%
Longest winning streak: Gnome had 12 straight wins at 378. LGBR had 11 straight at 124.
Longest losing streak: Mad Hat Sam went 0-6 at the end, point wise -225
Most improved from last year: Gnome, who is +8 (Last 12th to 4th). Skizz was solid at +5 (11th to 6th)
Most decreased from last year: TMZ, who is -9 (3rd to 12). 2017 Winner, Goshin, is -7 (1st to 8th)
Unanimous pick: Green: App State, Stanford. Red: Memphis
Huge Loser who likes to go against the cool crowd: TMZ who both picked correctly UVA over SCAR, and incorrectly ND over Clemson
Straight Up winner: Confidence points rule the day, but suppose this was a simple winner selection? LGBR at 73%
Interesting Notes:
*There wasn't a ton of moving up and down this year. Incremental mostly.
*I still don’t fully understand how ESPN did the math of the cancelled game.
*Even though we had one less game due to BC/Boise being cancelled (820 instead of 861 points), we had a +50 green point increase over last year. Average was 426, this year is 474.
*Who the fuck is Deadforum espn57468617? Naptown?
*Even the people that picked Clemson over Bama did so with tight scores. No one predicted a Clemson blowout.

Hard to predict a blow out in a final game. Bama had to go for it on every 4th down so they didn't score in the 2nd half.
Yeah, this is the suck time of the year after the Superbowl. College basketball is un-watchable because all you hear on the TV is people yelling WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
The Final 4 tournament is fun to watch, but then there will be nothing after that.
