[Chicago TWers] 6/9 - Film Fest WOOT

bonafide

Veteran X
Hey all you Chicago TWers!

Two of my good buddies from college have put together a student film fest that's traveling to 50 cities this summer. They got 600 films submitted this year, and are giving away $30,000 in prizes to the winning films.

Student Films Across America :: Home

At each venue, the top 3 films nationally will be shown, as well as 1 locally-made film and a live gig by a local band.

This Sat. they're hitting Chicago, info below:

Theater: Lakeshore Theater
3175 N. Broadway
Chicago, IL

Shows:
Saturday, June 9th - 7PM - $10 (sorry, coupons not valid for this show)

Local Film:
An Open Door, dir. Sean Jourdan

Local Band:
The Lifeline

If anyone from TW attends, I will be buying drinks at whatever bar looks good near the theater. Come on out for some surprisingly good films, live music, and free booze.

Is it going to LA... is it a short film or feature?

Where else is it going? KS?
