I underwent removal of a cataract from my left eye and had a corrective lens implanted to replace the diseased one. My ophthalmologist has asked 3 times "How old are you?" One time was during the surgery. The results....unbelievable. I'm like tripping all the time. "wow look at that blue!" Everything is so bright and shiney thru my left eye and I have no need of glasses (1st time since I was 11yrs old) except for reading until my eye heals. I get the right one done thanksgiving week. Whenever I look thru it now all I get is a hazy yellow/brownish look to everything. I feel like someone changed all the lights everywhere I go its so bright and shiney. Can't wait to get the other one done. Tribalwar is looking very pretty and blue.
 
You could have saved a lot of money and pain if you had just invested in some of the HD Vision glasses

They are both miraculous and stylish.

No. Marijuana only helps with glaucoma.

it'll make you feel better about having cataracts though
 
didn't cost me a dime. I'm double insured and have "friends".

So, I can still afford the stylish HD Vision Glasses.

Well, I got that problem.
Right eye!

However, ................ no "med. ins." :(
Excuses.... nah, that's just the way it is ( taking care of 'pops" ) 6 yrs. ????

62 ........ have to wait till I'm 65 y.o. for medicare/medicaid Health insurance.

But I am damn fucking :worried:

grats bro. must be amazing. i just turned 47 and had to get reading glasses for the first time. :)

im 27 and vision in my left eye's been utter shit for some time (like last 10 yrs) and has caused my childhood strabismus to return

apparently i have kerataconus (gradual deterioration of the cornea) and doctors think once it gets fixed i'll recover stereoscopic vision

soo... i went to spain last summer and the eye specialists there are gonna reinforce the cornea with some shit called 'corneal crosslinking' and then fix it all up with some PRK, for a tiny fraction of what it would cost here in the U.S., and they expect my vision will return to 20/20

can't wait to get back!!!
 
So you are going to have PRK done, which will reduce the thickness of your cornea, on an eye with a corneal disease that causes the cornea to become dangerously thin? Hmmm. Im not a K-cone specialist, but that has NEVER been suggested to any of my patients that I have referred to specialists. Good Luck!
