[Cameras] Panasonic GF3

Anyone have any strong opinions on the current Mirrorless DSLR Cameras? I currently have a Nikon D60 /w 2 lens (18-55mm & 55-200mm). I am tired of hitting my daughter in the head with it.

I can line up a Panasonic GF3 for $250 and a Lumix G Vario 14-42 mm F 3,5-5,6 ASPH. MEGA O.I.S. Lens for $150 from Craigslist. ($400 total)

Any opinions on the camera or recommendations?

It's probably fine. It just occurs to me that one of the benefits of buying canon or nikon is you get to build up a lens collection over the years that will work with any body on that mount. So you might start with a rebel ti but could use the same lenses on your 1d mk4. Lets be real, oly or pentax or panasonic are awesome companies but they aren't known for their lens systems.
 
The Olympus OM-5 looks great but it costs $999+

Micro 4/3 lens are compatible with both Panasonic and Olympus. So when I upgrade in the future I can switch to a nice Olympus CSC.

I was considering an Olympus E-p2 but the specs and price for the Panasonic edge is out.

Wife says she needs to be able to add an external flash. Back to the drawing board.. Maybe a Samsung NX100 instead then.
 
Honestly, big DSLR cameras are going the way of the dinosaur. Get an HD Video camera instead. This is my model from last year, they do have an update.

Shoots HD video in stereo, takes pics, can scrub through a video and save any frame as a picture.
Yes, DSLR cameras can shoot video, but it's not in stereo, and the on board mic usually sucks. The Sony has good sound, and you can plug in an external mic. This camera is what I use to shoot all my band videos. Good low light quality. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dU7lOeqfP6o
Mine is a high end model, you can find lower models at Samsclub and Costco.

The pic is a G3, and the linked article is about the GF3? They are quite different hey?

imo, the g3 is decent, the gf3 is more ladies handbag cam. That lens is so-so, it's one of lowest rated m43 lens.
