California is eager to restrict water and gas usage...

And they're also overwhelmingly conservative republicans that don't want to pay fair market rate for water and overall represent a drain on california resources.

Oh fucking come off it. Don't try to make this a Republican problem. Your state is as blue as they come. CA never had a Republican problem a day in its existence.

Wait.

Did you think almond milk was ground up almonds? That's almond butter.

Did you think almonds had titties?

What, exactly, did people think was in a giant carton of liquid with 30 CALORIES WOW! stamped on the side? And for that matter, what do people think is in ANY liquid? You're hard pressed to drink anything that isn't at least 85% water.

The big cities are blue. Everything else is red.

True, looked it up. Similar case in Florida. The big city areas like Miami (Jews, college kids), and Orlando vote for the left, while the rest of the state is red. Scroll down and there's a map on this page.

The Cubans go along with it, wanting the free hand outs, even with Rubio (a republican) talking about working hard and making it from nothing.

data's also forgetting that reagan was the governor of california and california voted for him both times he ran for president. he's also forgetting that between jerry brown today and 1975 jerry brown there has only been one democratic governor (gray davis) and he was recalled.

so yeah, we're totally just a solidly blue state.

Well, except for those nuclear reactors along the coast. I wonder why they omitted them from this summers disaster earth quake flick?

You are; the bluest of them all.

This is reflected in your enormous debt (nearly a trillion dollars - double the next worst state, New York) and the worst credit rating in the country for 10 consecutive years.

California has some of the most liberal politicians, but overall isn't that liberal.

Also that debt was almost wholly caused by the idiotic energy deregulation debacle.

california is currently running a budget surplus, and that's with a supermajority of democrats in the statehouse.

btw - if all those liberal parts of the state slid off into the ocean the remaining parts of CA would be pretty poor. that blue section in tele's map is nothing but poor republicans that suck the government teet.

 I don't buy it for even a second.

If you say so...

well, you'd be wrong about that. republicans could win california if they weren't bible thumping anti-abortion anti-pot crazy people.

California's Independent Voters (PPIC Publication)

californians are leaving the republican party and registering as independents. they're not doing that because they wholly disagree with the republican platform, just the parts that seem to be most important on a national level: anti-abortion, jesus, and guns, guns, and more guns.
