Calendar/Planning Programs

I've seen a bunch of people post desktop setups with a calendar program in the background. Does anyone have any recommendations as far these programs go?

Rainlendar is simple and free. If you just want to have a calendar on your desktop on which you can write memos then thats the one to get.

If you want it to look fancy or have a lot of options then there's some other one that I don't remember the name of.

It's also customizable where things matter like color, font, spacing, # of months, etc.

i use HipCal - it's about time

it's a web app though.

I use and love rainlendar. It does what you want and nothing more. None of this google widget crap or having to be connected to the web.

just use Google's calender app that comes with Gmail.
