I'm damned tempted for both bikes. It seems they'd be a bit too small for my 6 foot body though. How big are you? I currently ride a Trek Y3 in medium....I like my bikes a bit small and this Trek is getting a bit old (1996 model).

imo, good. its a GREAT bike upgrade to no end. while not ideal for road biking like a road bike would be, just general riding around the city it'd do great. it's VERY comfortable

yea, paid about 1800 for the mountaint bike including upgrades

about $700 for road bike
