PS if you aren't an overly sensitive American who is ignorant about Australian culture, you would know that KFC sponsors Australian cricket, the Australian team and the West Indies team are big rivals, KFC buckets are called crowd pleasers in Australia, and that the friend chicken stereotype does not exist in a lot of other countries. The "awkward situation" is being an Australia fan in a crown of West Indies fans. There are other variants of the ad where the bucket of chicken is used to please white people.
