[Bar question] How are "ladies night" legal?

I constantly hear ads for bars with "ladies nights" where ladies get in a 1/2 or no cover.

Sure this seems fine, but if you look at from the opposite perspective, the bars are having "we hate guys" night, since guys have to pay $10-20 extra to get in.

Drunk ho's is drunk ho's, but how is this not discrimination? What if they just made the cover $300 and made it a "whites night"?

If this is indeed legal, I have an idea for a new bar.
