wanted to make some pizza last night on short notice, and didn't want to use a prejarred sauce, so I whipped this up out of precanned shit
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can rotale(sp?) tomatoes with green chiles
table spoon olive oil
Garlic to taste(real if you have it, cooked in the olive oil, or else powdered, I'd keep the oil either way though)
oregano to taste
onion powder to taste
red whine vinegar to taste(after cooking)
In the interest of time, I drained both can's of tomatoes, then boiled it all down until thick, then used a hand blender to puree
I honestly wasn't hoping for much, but it turned to be a huge hit with the family.
