Anyone play Lead and Gold for PC?

I am looking into buying this game and as it's an almost purely multiplayer title I wanted to check to see if it had an active community. It looks completely awesome.

I saw an article about it a week or so ago. Apparently the community hovers in the 50-100 player range, and servers (the handful that there are) are mostly laggy. I'd pass.

I bought it not knowing there wasn't dedicated server support. Would be alright if it wasn't for that.

There's a pretty decent western mod for HL2.

Thanks Sanity and icZer, you guys saved me some cash. The bad review from Sanity/Kotaku and the fact that there's no dedicated servers is a deal breaker for sure.

I would not even care if it was like TF2 western-style. I play Fistful of Frags and wanted to play something with even better graphics, and saw this.

I have it and don't play it. You can just play TF2 and get more out of it and their isn't 100 keys to hit just to have a firefight. TF2 makes it nice and simple so you can focus on gameplay and not little tricks for using your special abilities.
