i remember buying nwn when it first came out

i played it for like 30 minutes

The original NWN was awesome if you played it like Dungeon Seige. Anyone who did the pausing and strategy missed out on awesome.

There are a few of these for PS2 as well. An Everquest one (or two) and more Neverwinter Nights ones. All are just hack and slash but they are pretty good for a night of drunken fun with a buddy. Mind you this was like 7 years ago now but I had fun.
