[Mega] MAGA Super Trump Mega Thread

so you think we should have shut down everything with mask mandates immediately, even though you just said we are six months in with mask mandates and shut downs, and still fucked?

Right, and that's probably what would've happened under any competent leader: a quick response and strong central recommendations for how the states should approach the problem. Instead we got, "There's no problem. COVID is under control. Do whatever you want. Fake news."

Now we're 200k deaths into this and a lot of Trump's supporters still think it is a hoax/joke. Had he taken it seriously and been honest about the dangers, there would've been quicker and stronger compliance to all recommended safety measures.

Except the media twists his word at every opportunity, which is why people still to this day think he called the virus a hoax when he never did, for example. Good luck uniting anything when half the people (and all of the media) think you're a nazi.

YOU GONNA UNITE WITH A NAZI, BROH?

Just a load of bullshit.

A lot of Trump supporters believe it is not worth killing our economy over possibly losing 1% of our population.

Until we can have honest conversations and not turn each other into cartoon villains this shit will continue to get worse.

You are 100% right, but the problem is not that masks aren't necessary,.

Can you prove they are necessary? No, you cant because supposedly there are millions and millions of people that we can't say if they are infected or not as they are asympotmatic. In a closed setting sure. In an open air setting no. Yet this shit happens. And notice the second cop that came up to arrest a women for not wearing a mask..is not wearing a mask

So seriously, shut the fuck up with your faux 'science' bullshit and talking about how its Trump and his followers causing the spread

The fact of the matter is that the Chinese government knew for MONTHS they had an outbreak and didn't say shit to anyone. There are 10,000 people a fucking day that come into this country from china, and according to the promask crowd, every plane they travelled on not only carried their infection, but carried the virus in the air for the next 3 hours...to the next 150ish passengers on the plane, and to everything they touched, and through every airport they travelled to. By the time the U.S. actually knew about it (after the W.H.O. didn't pass along the warning for Taiwan at first) the virus was already firmly entrenched in this country, Biden was calling the travel ban racist, and Nancy Pelosi was on TV in the middle of Chinatown telling everyone it was okeydokey and come on down.

Go get your TDS checked and stop watching CNN

That is completely false. Nobody said there was no problem, nobody said covid is under control. Nobody said do whatever you want.

What actually happened is the President passed the ball to the Governor's of each state to addressed the virus based on what they are personally experiencing. He then provided the aid each governor requested based on their needs. In many instances, he provided far too much aid resulting in unused resources (see the navy ship that sat outside NYC empty). This is exactly how the federal government should have responded and should respond in the future should something of this nature apply.

But for some reason you don't hold the governors accountable. Even though it was their job to enforce whatever protections they thought were needed to keep their citizens safe.

exactly, i don't know a single trump supporter that believes that covid isn't a real virus. the media obviously took trump out of context and ran with it, brainwashing everyone in their wake that listened, like good ole enlightened one here.

i do know some trump supporters that feel like it's way overblown, though.

He straight up lied and downplayed the risk. It's pretty clear:

Meanwhile he was admitting to journalists in private that he knew COVID was dangerous:

Trump deliberately played down virus, Woodward book says - BBC News

Consider this sequence of events:

- Trump knew COVID was dangerous.
- Trump publicly downplayed the risk and told America nothing is wrong.
- The USA has since had 7M cases and 200k deaths.
- Many places are still partially shut down, with jobs/lives affected.

Despite all this, blind loyalists and betas still rush to defend their dear leader. They simply refuse to admit the obvious truth: that Trump is not strong enough to lead a nation. He can't handle this job or the responsibilities that come with it.

Anyone with a pulse should believe its been overblown.

Right, he had a chance to take the big shot and be a leader, and he passed the ball. When the country needed someone to step up and be a hero, he said, "Don't look at me."

and you know that if he had, all the democrat run states/cities would have called him a dictator for doing so, just like you would have.

Due to Trump's incompetence .05% of my county's population has died in part from a global pandemic, most of them white democrats.

Excuse me sir did you not get the memo that COVID-19 was racist towards blacks? It was a genetic modification bye the Trump administration that makes the virus cling to people with intensified self victimization
