heavily hacked? changing a single name in the launch file and 'hacking the gibson' by way of console commands .... this qualifies as heavily hacked to you?

Hell, the way it's posted seems to be easier than what Gibson did without even using the console. It's not hacked...it's just modifying the ini to preload a game instead of having to connect to a server. Not sure, but I think they were able to do this in all the alphas. Now, you just run the exe from the folder (or HiCommand) and you're in.

I can't wait to see all the feedback.

really, you think not having standard controls, which will obviously be included when the game is officially launched as beta, doesn't qualify as a fucked up version of the game?
 
not the way he did it? thats what we're talking about here, the gameplay from the video has fucked up controls. regardless of the circumstances, mr mad rebel here seems to think the beta release won't have wasd or standard controls:

I preordered Starcraft 2 to get into the beta.
Fuck T:A though. I'm waiting this out.
 
How can you say the game doesn't have controls? Several of us have already played the game either in Alpha testing or at PAX or E3 or something. The game controls fine.

(Though mobility still concerns me)
