Do NOT like the game

How can you say you respect top players here and then turn around and say they cheated? Are you running for president (sorry wrong forum). Top T2 teams faded out because the game is old and boring as hell.

One thing I learned a long time ago, there are two types of teamwork that are often confused but can over lap. When I was starting out and my team was full of n00bs, teamwork ment we practiced hard our roles, how to handle stand offs, where deployables went, etc.. When we got better and very seasoned, most of that basic stuff wsa just taken for granted. If you played T1 for 2 years, it is assumed you know the cap routes, where to place deployables, etc.. The second type of teamwork comes from experience. This usually includes tossing repair kits to the HoF, dropping mines before you go on a cap run, where your cappers are coming back from so you know how to escort.

T:V will have more of the second type of teamwork for most of the vets here. Certain things will be assumed, such as where to place your remote invs, etc.. But you will need to be able to handle standoffs, learn when and who to pass your flag too, when to change to HO/MO. There still will be the basic strats, ie you are in charge of keeping the sensor up, you are a static MD and use a buckler, you are main escort LD, etc..

You will still need someone to distract LD/MD, you will still need someone to clear turrets, HoF/HD, some will need to deal with vehicles. At first I felt a lot like you. I liked a command screen, and sensor jammer packs, way points, etc.. But I opened my mind and got into the flow of it, I am enjoying learning what packs to use and when. What load outs to use. In T1/T2 there were set load outs you had all the time. I mean really I used 3-5 load outs for 6 years, but now I have to rethink all of that.

You could spell my moniker at LEAST half-right.

In your mind I might be a dumb kid, uneducated, waiting for mommy to pick me up from school, and I might be, but you'll always be a member of (MA).

Voldslinger, go get those school supplies. And anytime you and your clan want to challenge the MA to a scrimm, instead of just smacktalking feel free.

You know you really need to STFU about that.

Cyanide, go buy your school supplies....lets see, moron used twice. ...I'd say, sophmore in HS, no GF.

you seem really insecure & in denial about being a dumb newbie

every negative reply you get you respond with "gee i bet you're in high school & have never seen a girl"

you should stop reflecting your own shortcomings onto others and deal with the fact you suck at tribes & your opinion is worthless as far as competition/the direction the game is headed in is concerned

Twitchy smacktards will be in their glory with TV. Neat game, but no substance.
You sir, are stuck in the hinterlands. Can you not get it through your cretaceous brain that this is a different game? I will echo the responses of dozens of posters before me in saying, "go back to T2 if you love it so much." There are obviously many, many people that love T:V, your dislike of the exclusion of exploiting the Shrike and hunting cloaked players are insignificant compared to the massively posititive feedback the game has already been given.

I'm sorry you feel that the game doesn't live upto your expectations, but sadly, it's exceeding many other's. Good day.

My backpack rules. I've been out of school for a few years now, but this helps me get the chicks.

Thats kinda funny.

I played a few D posistions this past week. HoF, flag LD, base D/repair/farm. The people that tried to cowboy against me were quickly disbatched and several of them dropped out of the server after being thoroughly owned several times in a row. Cordination is still needed like it always was. Problem in TV now is that its beta(duh) and people aren't necassarily playing a dedicated posistion like you find in T1 and T2 servers. They are trying new things, screwing around, looking for bugs, faster routes, etc. Once it goes open beta nad eventually gold you will see people fall into their preferred roles and the pubs will become more competitive and organized. Of course it will have its pub moments like T1 and T2 were the comp level is abysmal but thats expected. Anyways, it will change for the better.

You comments for your first post seem to be the things that most people in T1 and T2 Comp hated the most about the game you like so its no wonder they are gone.

This is the reply that this eeyore 'old man' needs to read. (meaning Doc's)
I use the word 'old man' cuz he obviously wants everyone to know how old he is. Because this makes him mature/intelligent. duh.

It's obvious pubs are not going to be geared towards teamwork especially when there are so many new people playing it. And by 'new people' I mean people who haven't played it a long time (everyone basically). Hell...I play alot and I am still fooling around as a HO...or HD base repair, and anyone that knew me in T1 or T2 would laugh at the fact if I played a match as either of those since I have ALWAYS been a sniper.

As far as the developers taking out certain things he loved. Well...sorry to break it to you but boohoo. T:V is a different game. period.

Hell I wasn't too happy to hear about the sniper rifle (laser rifle) having 'ammo', but you know what I accepted the change and moved on. And frankly the whole ammo thing is TOTALLY ok with me now. It works out well by making you put a little more thought into your shots.

Oh well...either the old man will read the posts and realize that maybe change is good and to try something different, or he will continue to be an old grump and be miserable.
