Sorry, don't have time to read 11 pages of this. Change your User.ini file:
Up=MoveForward | Button bDropWeapon | SetWeapon equipmentclasses.weaponblaster

Auto drops blaster when you move forward,

edit: Replace "Up" with "W" for non-arrow-key people
