(t1) is it possible to export T1 shapes into 3dstudio max?

If you can find the source files. I know they were floating around for awhile but i don't know where to get them anymore. :disgust:
 
doesn't work that way... once in dts format your basically screwed.... there maybe a way but you would need to know alot about the tribes engine and scripting.... but even that won't get you far.
 
ya that would be only way... thats why they created model pack for max users... they're protecting their work... and i wouldn't blame them..
 
there is no way to do it. vicon combining exporter dumps all the data from the max file. The exporter creates a file that tells tribes where the mesh points are at each frame, texture to face data, animation frame names, and hiearchy structure. not much outside of that is left.

It's not like it exports it to 3ds where you just have the base mesh with object names.
