Look man...you can argue all you want but history doesn't lie.

Will you still defend Calipari when Kentucky gets nailed for something and he goes somewhere else unscathed? I doubt it

Before you go defending the guy you might want to check his recruiting record and how he used diploma mills to funnel kids into his programs that never had any business being on a college campus.

He has never had any qualms about playing dirty to get star players.

Sure...there are PLENTY of coaches who didn't even THINK of recruiting Rose because of all the red flags around him.

Almost all of the bigtime coaches used kids from those diploma mill schools and then the NCAA put a stop to it. Coaches used to text message recruits too but now that has been banned by the NCAA. Is every coach that ever sent a text to a player while it was still legal a dirty coach?

I didn't know oj mayo or renardo sydney played for memphis. and if your just listing out questionable recruits that he recruited... you might as well list every coach in america with them.

You seem to have missed the point, because there are LOTS of coaches who DON'T recruit questionable kids once they see there is baggage around them.

lots of losing coaches.

roy williams tried to say he backed off of recruiting john wall last year after he chose UK, even though he called him from the podium at the final four in april. if it makes you feel better about not getting top notch recruits to say that you backed off them because of baggage.. be my guest.. have fun losing
 
As far as I know...John Wall is pretty clean and a good kid.

Other one-and-done recruits....not so much

and yes, Roy Williams, Coach K, Tom Izzo and Ben Howland keep away from the troublesome kids

well he got arrested for breaking and entering last spring when he was trying to fuck some chick in an abandoned house, but good ole roy wanted to use it to act like he didn't want him after wall had no interest in his shitty team.

Calipari is far from the cleanest of coaches so stop trying to convince yourself he is. Just admit you sold your soul to the devil to try and get wins
 
please give a thought to those of us stuck with someone intent on turning the program into a semi-pro half-way house for AAU players to spend a year at before entering the draft

Roy Williams keeps away from the troublesome kids?? quote of the year... you might want to check roys ncaa violations and see how he skipped town when kansas got put on probation.

i'm just saying broseph, he has zero ncaa violations. if you don't think every big time coach skates in a gray area of recruiting etc... you are blinded
 
I have to go to work ill be back tomorrow sometime. lots of haters in here because cal either beat their team or got a recruit theirs didn't
