i really miss that place. there are no good chinese places out here.

check out charlie's on 30 (near tri city)
it closes early and its a little expensive
but those are fucking awesome sandwiches
i used to eat there after work every day

i miss living out that way only because everything was so much closer there.
 
I'm just sitting here looking at the satellite view of my old home town on google maps reminiscing how good it use to be and how the projects in Chicago got pushed to our town and basically ruined it within a decade and how I can really never go back and walk around town without getting a shank in my backside which has put me in a state of emo cynicism, rage and melancholy.

you might be right but i'd say wait it out another 7-8 years there negative nancy.

but if you really feel this way you should stock up on rice during this rice shortage and invest in precious metals while the US dollar is on the decline.

let us hope we never have an american union and they introduce the amero.

The integrity of the dollar maintains.

i am also a poor college student
in fact
i have about $45 in my checking account now (which may be overdrawn)

however
i routinely drive to NH for the mountains
it's a 4+ hour drive that winds up costing about $60 in gas these days
but i am willing to eat cheaply for a week to afford it
 
I'm using rconj to connect to a novell server that is literally 5 feet away.

My god am I fucking lazy
 
i've overdrawn my bank account a few times but i am also really good at bitching on the phone to get my money back

i havent done it in probably 3-4 years now though

i invest about 17% of my monthly income however i still live paycheck to paycheck.

and i have no car payments. (paid off)

i am out of college by 5 years
