Do not forget that the country being aware of the importance of the Paris agreement, and public opinion supporting Biden's pledge to immediately rejoin it.
Trump is indirectly responsible for that shift, because he pulled the US out of the PA, with only the support of his hick base.

I remember pics of Trump walking around some place with military all around and everyone had live rounds, he felt fine.

That said, changing demographics means it's only going to be a matter of time until our military is brown, less intelligent, and more blue.
