Holy fucking shit, as if I needed any more reasons to stay out of the US

I don't want to have living things I'm responsible for suffer.
I'm that kind of slave owner.

What do you think about horse populations declining since the invention of the car? They peaked sometime around world war I. Then we cast them off. We have no need for the species anymore, so their population plummeted. They can survive only as a pet, or a product(racing). They serve no useful function to us anymore.

why do capitalists insist on eating food that has been literally tortured to death for all its life?

If empathy mattered at all to our species we would never have even begun chasing animals with sticks.

I suppose we could give all the suppliers of meat more land for free.. then they can provide an enriching lives for these animals prior to sneaking up behind them and putting a bolt through their head.. we could give the chickens a nice massage and then when they relax.. bam! cut their heads off.

I am fine with these products costing 5 times as much.. it is worth it to sleep better.

Raise it relatively free of pain. Let it socialize if it's a herd animal. keep it clean; that should be good for us too. keep the animal relatively stress-free to keep those stress hormones out of my meat. Be able to move about. Kill it quickly. I think we're doing most of that in the US now anyway. I don't think it will cost too much money to do the right thing.

Maybe there's a reason I think Mexican meat taste better than U.S. meat (in California at least.) All those lean cows eating grass and shrubs next to the highway wandering free...

I will eat any animal that I think taste good. I hope we can do that with the above standards that I've laid out.

We should start farming elephants and rhinoceroses get those populations up lots of meat there.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a more rabid capitalist on this board than me and I do not eat mass-produced meats. Well, as far as I know, I do not.

All the meat I purchase is farm raised, grass fed. From the free-range chicken, free-range pork to grass-fed beef, I only buy what I believe is properly raised animals for me to consume. And it's not just me that does this but everyone in my family.

Yes, it costs a lot more but at least I know my money isn't paying to treat animals like the factory farmed meat we see. It drives me NUTS when I see animals being treated like that.

I also rarely ever eat fish because I do not agree with the corporate fisheries floating around in the ocean raping the sea of all marine wildlife.

Contrary to what your Jewish socialist masters tell you, capitalism allows the buyer the option to put their money where their mouth is - pun intended - and this capitalist exercises that option.

It's like as if you were eating people from concentration camps like Auschwitz in Germany or those new ones for Syrian women refugees in Hungary. We all know your ancestors did it. Beasteality at its best. No wonder why Americans are so fucking retarded at the point to support beasts like Trump. Eating rotting meat can seriously harm your mental health

yeah, how's that 'empathy' for animals working out for your bernie-bro socialist utopias?
