Can we just... Let that one sink in for just a moment...

Look, they listed off the hot-button 'conspiracies' of the day, Pizzagate, QAnon, JFK... I'm fine if people choose to tune out of that stuff, that's their prerogative, but to then also add, "You can't question this policy", effectively turning people into enforcers by-proxy.

It doesn't even allow for a neutral position on what is, without question, free speech.

You know what I could see them doing next, and I say this as a joke now, but I could genuinely see this as being the next step in their insanity... They'll implement a rewards system into social media. Report someone that you personally know on social media for talking about "Conspiratorial Content" and get 10% off your next Amazon.com order.

Report your IRL contacts for talking about the death of JFK, or asking questions about the Holocaust (to which they'll then get banned from various social media platforms) and get a $5 Uber card, or a free Starbucks coffee on your next visit. They can then give this movement titles and pins to wear on their social media accounts, a badge, like some kind of officer, "Social(media) Security Officer" or "SS Officer" for short.

conpiracy theories they say

but then also simultaneously confirm

maybe they just don't like it when i say it

Schiff: Trump may face ‘real prospect of jail time’

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) on Sunday said that President Trump might "face the real prospect of jail time" after prosecutors indicated last week that he directed illegal payments during his 2016 presidential campaign.

"There’s a very real prospect that on the day Donald Trump leaves office, the Justice Department may indict him. That he may be the first president in quite some time to face the real prospect of jail time," he said on CBS's "Face the Nation."

If Bill has remained out of jail after all these years, nothing will happen to El Trumpo.

We now know several Russian officials reached out to a half-dozen Republicans very close to Trump and his campaign, including his eldest son, his closest adviser, his lawyer and his campaign manager. We now know they took the meetings, often enthusiastically, during and after the campaign.

We now know Russia offered in those chats campaign assistance — “synergy,” they called it. We now know no one around Trump alerted the FBI of this effort to subvert our elections.

We now know that 12 Russian intelligence officers were indicted for hacking the DNC and systematically releasing material for the purpose of hurting the Clinton campaign via WikiLeaks.

We know that Trump associates Roger Stone and Jerome Corsi attempted — successfully, in some instances — to get in touch with WikiLeaks and that they are under investigation for whether they had advance knowledge about the email dumps.

We now know Donald Trump Jr. and others took a meeting with Russians promising dirt on Hillary Clinton. We now know Don Jr., when approached with the promise of dirt, wrote: “If it’s what you say I love it especially later in the summer.”

We now know Trump was negotiating a Trump property in Moscow during the presidential campaign — and hid this from the public and lied about it. We now know Mueller believes, based on his court filing, the “Moscow Project was a lucrative business opportunity that sought, and likely required, the assistance of the Russian government.”

We now know every arm of the U.S. intelligence community concluded Russia sought to systematically influence the election outcome. We now know this was an unanimous conclusion, save one dissent: Trump.

We now know Trump officials continued talking with the Russians during the post-election transition. We now know Jared Kushner and Jeff Sessions failed to initially disclose any contacts with Russians on their government forms.

We now know Jared Kushner suggested a secret backchannel with the Russians, which had it happened, would have been free of U.S. eavesdropping.

We now know Trump soured on FBI director James Comey, Attorney General Jeff Sessions and White House counsel Don McGahn in part over their handling of the probe.

We now know Paul Manafort, who ran the Trump campaign in the summer of 2016, lied about his Russia contacts, was indicted and is going to jail.

We now know Flynn lied about his Russian contacts, was fired and pleaded guilty, after agreeing to become a key witness in the investigation.

We now know Cohen lied about his Russian contacts, was indicted and then flipped to become a key witness against Trump.

A world policed for speech and individual thinking is what we have fought so hard to avoid. It is one of the first symptoms of a sickness creeping in to a society. When are people going to realize that any limitation on the speech and opinions of others is the first step to ruin. Using any form of violence even under the guise of the "law" to prohibit free speech is a bad sign.

Smaller government is good government. Monopolies are bad. A free market is a good market. "Turn on, tune in, drop out". It is funny that the words of Dr Leary now have come full circle. The wolf is wearing sheep's clothing. The enemy is the same - closed minded, unyielding people setting up rigid systems designed to control the lives and minds of those ensnared in the trap.

My advice to everyone especially in the US - turn off your TV. Get off social media. Choose your news sources wisely. Use your dollars locally. Support small, local business and food sources. Help people out in your town and city. Vote in people who can make wise decisions with our tax dollars. And, prepare for those who will come to take it away from you. Work hard, mostly follow the rules, love your family, take care of those around you, help someone in need once in awhile and make sure the 30-50 percent of our wages are actually being used to make something better - not just thrown out the window into the pockets of cheats and thieves.

What thoroughly bankrupt thinking. Monopolies are the natural end point of these "free markets". To avoid them you need BIG GUBMINT. I know it's difficult for conservative types, but try thinking any one idea through as far as you are able to prevent these embarrassing ideological contradictions.
