[Mega] MAGA Super Trump Mega Thread

just gonna leave this tweet here

No one actually believes Jim Acosta did anything wrong.

This is one of those situations where conservatives collectively pretend to believe something they don’t believe.

Pretending to believe something they don’t believe serves multiple purposes:

One, it signals tribal loyalty. Being willing to say blatantly false things shows you put tribe over truth, and that is a critical loyalty test, as anyone who has studied cults can tell you.

Two, they’re trolling. “Triggering the libs” is the meats and potatoes of their political ideology these days (read my book, Troll Nation). Telling blatant lies and watching liberals make themselves crazy insisting on “facts” and “evidence” makes them laugh in delight.

Three, they are trying to push the idea that violence against women isn’t a real problem, but something people only pretend to care about to score points.
How better to seed that idea than only pretending to care to score points?

Fourth, it's about reestablishing Trump's narrative that the media are the "enemy" to be defeated instead of a Fourth Estate necessary to keep democracy healthy. This helps, in turn, fuel the already strong message that democracy is wrong and authoritarianism is right.

Fifth, it's a straight up distraction. Trump wants everyone "debating" a completely obvious video, instead of talking about how he's trying to conceal what is almost certainly very serious crimes by interfering with the Mueller investigation.

you're just a useful idiot. you parrot the official line. little republican npc.

you have eyes, you've seen the video, you take their word for it anyway. pathetic.

No, I take my word for it. All you see is a journalist being combative with a President you can't stand, so you think it's great. You have tunnel vision. You don't see the other 49 people in the room trying to get a question in to the President who is there on limited availability. I'd like to hear what they have to ask. I don't need to hear Jim Acosta demand Trump say that CNN is real news for the 50th time.

But feel free to call me a useful idiot while demonstrating you hold no ability for critical thought. You don't even rate being called an NPC, you are literally nothing more than a clapping seal.

Fool do the other 49 people seem to mind? Every reporter on twitter is supporting Jim Acosta, and so is the WHCA, if you haven't noticed.

Your argument "but what about the other reporters???" is bullshit.

Twitter reporters all saying the same thing? You don't say.

Still haven't seen you condemn an unruly mob surrounding a journalist's home to intimidate their family. I suppose you think that's justified for a reason.

also how is asking questions about his racist ad irrelevant

that seems perfectly relevant
Acosta asked the question.
trump answered the question.
Acosta argued with him.
Trump, ironically for once in his life, maturely says well we have a difference of opinion.
Acosta attempts to argue more.
Trump now starts whining.
Acosta blocks the intern multiple times
Acosta starts to ask another question then gives up the mic.
Acosta then stands up again w/o the mic to interrupt and whine more

in a sane world, cnn would fire this guy for being an unprofessional buffoon before the wh would even have to boot him. cnn can send someone else.

move on, you homer faggot.

Still haven't seen you condemn an unruly mob surrounding a journalist's home to intimidate their family. I suppose you think that's justified for a reason.

I condemn it, but what the fuck does it have to do with Jim Acosta?

PS: The reason you didn't see me condemn it is the same reason you didn't see me condemn the holocaust - we weren't fucking talking about it

It's pretty clear that Infowars sped up the point of impact to make it look more emphatic. Of course sites like talkingpointsmemo.com won't give the WH the benefit of the doubt that the WH might not be aware of this and will write headlines that make the inference that the WH did the doctoring or were at least culpable, which people like phaytal and triple are fine with. In the end, everyone's making a big deal about what I thought was a joke about the double standard of physical confrontation, and that Jim Acosta could be kicked out for being a pompous ass who disrespects not just the President but 49 other journalists in the room, but hey I guess that's too rational for you nutbags.

I'm not defending douchebag Jim Acosta. He's a pompous jerk-off. But the White House releasing a doctored video is either blatant incompetence, or tactical. I lean toward the latter.

Trump's ilk lap up everything that comes out of his office without question.

havax is the perfect example. He's too stupid, or more likely, blissfully ignorant, to recognize that the video was obviously doctored. He's force fed his opinions by places by /the_donald.

Just an obvious double standard of the left's outrage.

I can't be outraged about the white house press secretary pulling passes in retaliation for tough questions because some random mob scared tucker's wife and kids? That's your logic? You're going with that argument? Okay.

did you know you can't be outraged about hillary's emails because you never openly condemned japanese comfort girls from 1945

just another double standard from the right

typical

^ Actual shit for brains

nah, bro, you're actually missing my point, you fucking idiot.

omg so the video was slowed down and sped up, omg, that means he didn't really physically push her arm down, because it clearly shows that he didn't do that at all. stupid fuck. I actually saw it happen live, and I was like wtf dood. quit defending this piece of shit. you don't want to die on that hill.

Not at all, I'm pointing out your hypocrisy and your double standard. Acosta was not evicted for asking tough questions, he was evicted for being constantly rude and unprofessional and eventually putting his hands on an intern. He shouts questions out of turn, he disrespects the President *AND* the other journalists. This has been occurring for 2 years, and finally it was enough. CNN is free to send another journalist to ask hard questions respectfully.

Like I said, you have blatant tunnel vision.

you're making a big deal about a video we're all seeing for the first time after watching the original 10 times yesterday.

my take is that he should have been banned from the wh pool a long time ago. and he did enough to warrant a ban if you want to completely remove his contact with the intern.

of course the contact is being overblown but it's irrelevant.

luvvvvvv c'n subyooman libscumfux demonRATS despritly tryna makkem selfs feel bettuh bout wakkn up anudda day even doe dem famly bin tryna gittem 2 kill umselfs smdh lol :jester:

My question still stands; what exactly do you have a problem with?

The source of the video?

The speed of the video?

I didn't even know about this video on Sarah's twitter feed until, well, more recently when the fake MSM decided to start running wild with it. I saw it happen live on the live broadcast, I don't need a video clip from anyone to tell me what I saw happen.

Acostas was told to sit his fucking ass down, that he was out of line, and then put his hands on an intern.

I've had to sit here and listen to the Left throw fucking temper tantrums over the whole Kavanaugh appointment, and wasted millions of taxpayer dollars launching multiple FBI probes and investigations into a 35+ year old sexual assault allegation from a woman who just RANDOMLY shows up during these appointment hearings, with NO PROOF to speak of, and no corroborating witnesses, and in fact it turns out that there was a man that came forward and said, "Yeah, I remember her, she was probably thinking of me, but it didn't play out like that."

And I had to watch a bunch of fat, unshaven, smelly feminazi troggs spit in the face of Americans who said, "But there's no evidence to support her claims", when there WAS NO evidence, and being told, "WHY DON'T YOU BELIEVE HER?!?!?!??!!"

Now we have evidence, the video's there, Acostas put his hands on an intern, and got BTFO'd from the press pool. WE DON'T BELIEVE WOMEN, HOW YOU CAN BELIEVE THAT CUNT, THAT WHORE, THAT SLUT ON TRUMP'S PRESS STAFF!

Good fucking riddance.

I was wondering why people were seriously saying karate chop. I thought people were trying to meme the left via a hyperbolic statement. If it's true that infowars is responsible for spreading it, why are people equating it with the White House though?

You talk agenda and triple was ecstatic last night that triple admitted to liking that acosta got martyred which is exactly how the left is playing this now. Anyone with sensibility including you sees he's out of line and there has been a pattern of it. When I watched the minute after and he steals his fate by over speaking a guy trying to defend his professionalism lol.

These press briefings aren't supposed to be a public debate but they have become one. If you look at it from a lens that reporters actively debate points he was still out of line for grasping a staffer who's clearly there to ensure the mic gets passed around somewhat equitably and then speaks out of turn. I'm now seeing stills on Twitter of TDS sufferers blaming her as if she isn't supposed to stop someone from monopolizing the mic which nothing she did was unreasonable. He wasn't even escorted out which would have happened at a school budget vote if he acted that way.

This whole situation shows how fucked up the far left and extreme right (infowars, if they were the ones that edited it) is.
