Cohen has not yet sat down with prosecutors to discuss a potential deal, though he is currently seeking a new legal team with more experience appearing before judges in the Southern District of New York and working with the US attorney’s office in Manhattan, according to CNN.

His lawyers have until the end of the day to complete their review of the 3.7 million files seized by the FBI for attorney-client privilege. A day after the April raid, Trump took to Twitter to bemoan that “attorney-client privilege is dead!”
