i quit my rf engineering job, and am working for girlfriend's paintball company, i have no income, so had no money to do anything cool. i had planned to clean up my room, which is a MAJOR undertaking. its been annoying her for long time to see it so destroyed. hundreds o computer parts, paintball, and camera gear laying everywhere, covering the entire bed, 'n so much shit on the ground, that i had to make a path through the mess to get to my computer desk which is packed with hundreds of little gadgets 'n cables.
i spent an entire day working on the mess, but only got about half way done. also, i had planned to get it totally clean and decorated, then make a nice dinner 'n watch a movie in the newly cleaned room. but she already made plans to go out. so my plans were reduced to just cleaning my room for her. lame, even if i did get it done on time.
so on v-day, her obnoxious fucking cocker spaniel did its high pitched extremely loud yelping all night 'n all day (again). i love dogs, 'n i hate having to be mean to them, so it pisses me the fuck off every time i have to beat the shit outta it, which is the only way it will shut the fuck up. and since it gets used to the beating, i have to increase the intensity everytime, else it just starts yelping again 5 mins after the asswhoopin. gf dont wanna get an electric colar to stop the fucker from yelping, cuz its too expensive. so instead, she plans to spend more than it would cost for a e-collar on a stupid shitty expensive meal.
so out we go. she picked a pretty cool "Italian" restaurant. cool, because they have cool decor, 'n leather chairs 'n couches instead of lame ass chairs 'n tables. but the term "Italian" or any other cuisine is a misnomer in India, because the stupid fuckers put curry in fucking EVERYTHING! i hate fucking curry. not only is it mouth burning 'n numbing, it totally removes the natural taste from any food its on. so basically, there is no such thing as a non-indian restaurant, unless you count Moto's Kitchen Inc. i fuckin rule at cooking, which comes in really handy in India, since the food here sucks.
so we order some "italian spiced chicken" and some "italian mixed mushrooms" appitizers. of course, we couldnt taste either one, cuz of all the fuckin curry they used. that pissed me off about as much as paying $50 for a shit ass red wine. we dont got enuf money to keep meat in our fridge, but we have enough money to spend $50 on a p.o.s. wine that wouldnt qualify to be poured from a $10/gal box wine in usa.
then i find out my cool gf planned this place, cuz some tango dancing teachers were gonna be there doing intro classes. cool idea, but considering both of us are uber control freaks, trying to dance tango, where one person is always the dominant leader, basically pushing 'n pulling their partner around the dance floor, may not be the best choice in dancing types for us. we both hate being pushed around.
so we tried it. it went about as expected. after 5 mins, she was trying to explain to me AND THE TEACHER how to tango, using all sorts of made up words 'n phrases. then when the teacher corrected her, she argued with them, and tried to convince them of what they were "really trying to say". she does this all the time to me too, when im trying to teach her something about computers or paintball.
i was already in a shitty mood, so just told her straight, for the 100th time, that she was a terrible student, and that she should try listening to the instructors, rather than telling them how its done, or pretending like she already knows it all. of course, this didnt go off too well. she wasnt in the greatest of moods either, 'n this set her off. she pushed me off her, 'n told me to leave, which i did. sat out in the parking lot, freezing my ass off for over an hour, while she was inside, no doubt trying to wait me out. i won, she came out, 'n we left without saying a word.
we stopped somewhere else to eat. said about 10 words to each other the entire rest of the night. after coming home, we went into different rooms, 'n havent spoken to each other yet. didnt speak a single word to each other till 8pm on the next day (india time).
so basically, pretty shitty v-day for moto.
hope yallz vdays went a bit smoother than mine.
