I can't imagine having to watch a hockey game without it [1080i] these days...unless I have tickets.

Flat screen Toshiba 27" Tube TV 480P. Can't wait to get my coupon so i can go out and get that Zenith LG converter box I have been eying. Already hooked up my laptop to the TV and since I have a TV tuner I can pick up digital over the air with it. Looks fantastic! Should be good times!

I have a 26" CRT in a HUGE entertainment bureau in our master bedroom. People that came over always called it a "big screen TV" but I had to explain to them that it was just an illusion...


similarly, we now have a 42" LCD Toshiba Regza in our living room...
but the living room is only roughly 11-feet wide.


Hence, this piddley 42" looks frikkin' huge in such a tiny den.
 
I don't...then again it's my roommate's TV and I never watch it anyway. If I lived alone I probably wouldn't even have a TV...but even if I did, I wouldn't pay for cable.
