XP Service Pack 3: Go or No Go?

if you do it, you're probably going to have to download the windows installer redistro pkg. Lots of people can't dl/install anything after putting sp3 on.
 
I've got it rolled out completely on 150+ machines spread over 3 domains. So far, no obvious issues.
 
Don't do it if you use CS2 or lower. (Photoshop)

I don't like CS3, so I use CS2 (it's less bulky and uses WAY less resources.) Anything not CS3 has some serious issues with SP3. And Adobe's offical answer to the problem is... "Use CS3."

like what? I havent noticed anything wrong with cs2
 
I'm not sure if SP3 caused it, but my laptop has started stalling right before the task bar appears during boot up.

My mouse appears and so does my wallpaper, but it takes another 3-5 minutes for my task bar and desktop icons to appear.

Any idea what could cause this?
