Well I went to the grocery store and got them to mince up some filet mignon.


I barely seared 1/3 of the beef and put the rest raw in a bowl with a raw egg, onion, garlic powder, and a few other spices.


I am now dining on the concoction with some toast and Sam Adams' White Ale.


Im in that kinda mood to throw the caution of food poisoning to the wind...


If I get sick... Pics!
 
At least grind your own meat. That way you have less of a chance of there being cross-contamination.

I watched em mince it with a knife in front of me... I kinda like the chunks larger.


However this was the kind of day I was willing to dine on some raw beef and to hell with the consequences.

Im quite impressed with my lunch.

If it gets me sick so be it but god damn I am a fucking chef today.

this shit is delicious.

(I am also drinking a few beers for further anti-ceptic effect. [I hope] )

It is a safe dish if you can find it, nobody that prepares it is stupid enough to mess up...


The problem comes from clients who want to eat the liver of the fish and bums who eat the meat from the trash cans in Japan.

Eating the liver is pretty damned risky.

asparagus and a grilled ribeye. ribeye seasoned with just salt and pepper.

had it for lunch on saturday. made my day.
