so I just got an 11,000 dollar quotre from home depot for carpeting my house

lowes and home depot are fucking retarded

i had to get a local carpet warehouse to install my carpet because lowes forgot to even call in my order for the carpet

same with my granite countertops, same fucking story
 
I've had an inside view of the SW Home Depot Flooring Ops center.

Don't give these morons your money. They are completely off their rockers and fuck up even the simplest of projects.
 
I'm still waiting to hear how it could even come close to 11,000 for carpet? even if you had a 46 foot long room
 
It cost me 5k to do 4 rooms with expensive thick and luxurious carpet.

I have a mix of wood, carpet, and stone... am I middle class?

I had 4 rooms carpeted about 10 years ago, it sure didn't cost thousands. I thought it was nice carpet, (completely thrashed now, friggin dogs)

well apparently they want to put laminate down, including sealing and lining the floor for protections against WATER

then charge me to remove that laminate and install the carpet.

looks like I'm going to SIDS Carpet Barn in national city.






















and yes, I'm going to carpet my house with dead babies.
 
I like carpet in my bedrooms and TV room. I don't like my TV in an echo-y room. Rest of the house has wood and ceramic tile
