Here's the styrofoam head I found at a garage sale for 50 cents.
The styrofoam was carved down and covered in plaster gauze and glue for the armature.
Here it is after about four hours' work. It still has a long way to go, but everything's roughed in.
This is modeled off of a girl I know. Though it doesn't look very feminine now, my friend is very attractive so I'm hoping for the best. (On how the SCULPTURE will turn out) The hair should add alot to the figure when completed. So far I haven't worked larger than an inch for heads, so I'm happy with the way this is turning out on the first try.
