Veteran X
So I am back from Wasington DC after a fast 2 day visit. Home for a while, finnaly. I got about 450 photos total, and after scrapping the crappy ones, I cut it down to 250 photos, naimly of my Aunts birthday party; that was the reason we went up.On Sunday we went around to the new National Air and Space building outside of Dulles Airport, then drove around the District it self taking photos at the War Memorials. Monday we came home... and boy, that sucked. We were slated to fly from Wasington National(DCA) to Orlando(MCO), but the flight was full so we got bumped. Hey, I thought, lets try Charlotte! We fly to North Carolina, only to remember once we land "Fuck, that huge NASCAR race was this weekend!". Airport is jam packed. The next 2 Orlando flights in Charlotte were overbooked and delayed. Now sitting in Charlotte we say "Tampa or Jacksonville!". We try for Jacksonville and get on that flight, arriving there around 12:30pm. Time to hunker down for a 2 hour car ride back to Orlando... all in all, a long day, but not has bad as some of the ones I've done in the past. I got home, and slept from 3 till 11 or so, when I woke up randomly. Ate some fish and got cracking on my photos, which I present to you here!

I have about 150 from the inside of the building, but not the time, willingness or webspace to put them on the net.... mabye I'll post more in a few, they did have some awesome aircraft out at that facility.

it just doesn't seem as special considering i've seen a lot of that stuff IRL.
Aye, I use to live in the area (Springfield), so its no biggie, but I still like some of the photos I got. It was cool weather that day, really bright sun has it was setting, but overcast with grey clouds.

yeah, i'll grant you that the second pic of the monument is pretty nice.

I was amazed at all the Nazi missiles they had there, never knew they made so many. Cool place. Two Thumbs Up.

I live here, and I still haven't made it out yet. Maybe I'll go sometime soon, cause it looks like a really cool place. :)
