At lowest settings on 640x480 with a 2400+, a 9600, and 768 of 266 I get 30fps in T:V

what 9600 ? if it's a SE I blame you...

I have a Radeon AIW 7200, 512mb of RAM, and a 1800+ and I could play just fine in the beta and the demo...

I have a 1.2TB, GF4ti4200 with 384mb RAM. I get better frames than that.

I suspect that crappy ATI card you have.

AMD 2000+, 9500Pro, 768MB PC2700.

Everything on High, except Water Medium, View Ultra-high.

35-45 fps at 1024x768 @ 108 FoV

You must have something wrong.

i have 2400+ 9600 PRO, 1gig pc3500 ram

i play at 1024x768 everything at high and get 50-60 fps

if its a 9600 SE then yes i also blame you

try the latest ati drivers

I'm running a 2600+ and a 9800 Pro w/a gig of 2700(might be better I don't remember) and I run at 1280x1024 at nearly ultra-high graphics (everything but shadows and 2.0 shaders which I just keep forgetting to turn on) and I get around 40-60 fps.

Beta played beautifully on highest settings at 800x600... :\

But they upped the quality of graphics for retail. Most notably, they fixed SHADOWS to actually work. Which means you are now rendering shadows @ an FPS cost. Try adjusting your shadow settings.

try optimizing your system then . Something must be running the background taking up memory and processing power to lower you fps that much .

If you can't clean up stuff to make a different, try reinstalling windows freshly, install your drivers, patch everything up, defrag your drive, and fire it up...

At high settings (minus bump maps and shadows) on 1024x768 with a 2500+, a 9600 Pro, and 512 of some cheap ram, I get >35fps in T:V. Something sounds wrong. Shadows hurt the framerate, so definately try lowering those

First of all you can't just post a number and say "i get this much fps". I get 220 fps staring at a wall, 20 or less in heavy action in utopia. Also, I would up your res to 800. Modern cards and engines are optomized for higher res, I actually pick up a few frames going from 640 up to 800 but then lose a few going up to 1024. Ive got a pretty similar system, dont worry about it just tweak your config out and deal till an upgrade :D
