Nissan Titan pricing is out.

I guessed they'd have to price aggressively to attract the domestic full size truck buyers, and they did.

Ford F350 w/ the 6.0L PS for 30k? - edit holy crap i misread. 38k? jesus... that's a little up there.

For the ride, that price is pretty competitive w/ Ford and GMC, maybe even a little less.

It's still an import pickup, and I'm just not a fan of them.

The one thing that did catch my eye is the 168 degree rear door opening, that's pretty handy. It sucks to load groceries in a parking lot with a rear door that only opens 110 degrees or so.

It should do well in the states, it's got the right look.

Go price one - you are mistaken. That and Ford does't even offer half of the options available on the Titan as standard.

BFD it isn't a deisel, who said I wanted a deisel?

Edit: Yes, you are a moron. I priced a similarly equipped F350 (you wanted 1 ton) and it came out at $43,545.00 without satnav or curtain airbags, or traction control yadda yadda.

You can get a similarly equipped ford, chev OR Dodge truck for less money. 38k is actually pretty insane for an import truck.

The sheep that feel the need to buy what's popular at the moment will flock to it though but it's not a comparable vehicle for people who actually NEED a truck.

38k? That's how much Harley F150s go for, and they look a bajillion times better and have awesome interiors... and has 380hp and 450tq.

Go build a similarly equipped ford, chev or dodge. Can't be done.

If you do an apples to apples comparison, the Titan is better built, more powerful, better equipped and as far as MSRP goes, compares very favourably to any domestic offering. I've already done the research.

Oh Look!! 4 REAL doors!! Comfortable 5 passenger seating! A 5.7 Ltr Hemi Engine that will pull ht e axles right off of that nissan. Not to mention better cargo capacity, better towing capacity, better load capacity, and best of all...it's not a friggin NISSAN!

Buy a real truck...that is all...

Titan is rated at 300+ HP, 375+ torque Lb the F150 HD page makes no mention of either that I can see.

F150HD has a shorter bed, no liner, no utility rails or any storage.

F150HD has no Satnav, traction control, electronic diff lock, shift on fly 4wd. In fact, F150HD has no option for 4x4 at all.

Titan is 5 spd, F150 is 4

F150HD tows 4500lbs, Titan tows 9400

Titan has a better stereo system.

Titan has suicide doors, F150 has 60o door opening in rear.

F150HD is MSRP $37,620.00. Not great value for a few styling accents and a truck that has about 0 utility value.

Nice try, but you forgot some shit, the MSRP comes out at MSRP: $38,955.00 and does not include:

Traction control
front bucket seats (has a bench lol)
navigation system
electronic locking diff
Titan is rated to tow 9400lbs, This Dodge tows 8300.

Also, that 5.7L hemi is 345HP, the Titan is stated as 300+HP and 375+ft/lb of torqueso the final specs aren't clear.

Here's a link to some more comparisons.

If I wanted an SUV I'd get the Frontier Armada - based on the Titan.

Has all the same specs except it has full time 4x4 through a Nissan Skyline GTR Transaxle.
