There's a free 14 day trial, and you can buy time cards (for one months worth of play time) for in game money. It will take you several hours to make the money, but it can be done... ;)

can you do this by transfering money across accounts? i.e. get a 2nd account, make it raw industrial... and use it to pay for BOTH?

if i understand mining correctly, you could be making 100 million rather easily after a month of carefully planned training... and that's not counting any smart industrial corp cooperation.

im a total newbie after 2-3 weeks, and i can pull in about 6 million an hour without any real focus on training for it. i can imagine that being like 20 million an hour if you know what you are doing after a month of training.

Verite pays for his alt exclusively by carebearing, and has plenty of ISK left over. If industry is your thing, your extra accounts can pay for themselves and your main by making solo mining feasible in 0.0.

I'm looking at that...just bought t2 strip miners and crystal bpo's. 9 days till covetor (or hulk?)

now I just need to get to fade and do some safe mining.

Nowhere is safe, but the northen systems in Fade are fairly quiet, and you get lots of advanced warning as hostiles pass through L-C3o7 and C4C-Z4 on the way up. Just train up a very good hauler character.
 
I went back to Raging corp after they left SNU but we stayed in the Vale of the silent/Geminate area in 0.0 and it is way quiet here, too quiet actually. We rat and mine in peace (makes me sick)and every once in a while get a chimp or a LV or -V- guy coming through that we are allowed to hunt down and kill. Hopefully a new alliance moves into the Geminate area soon and we aren't friends with them, just so we can kill people again on a daily basis.

I was going to join Freee and still may if things here don't change soon. Boring sucks and is bad for attendance.
