What to go for next

So I'm a few days from finishing training Amar frig V which will put me in interceptors with all the relevant skills trained. Trying to decide what to go for next. Should I stick with training small ships, and go for assault frigates and covert ops. Or to change my focus and go for large ships Cruiser then BS. I would like to get into the fights in 0.0 at some point, but am not sure which route is more in need or better.

I am personaly a fan of small fast ships, but if they are worthless there is no point in training them any further.

Battlecruisers are all the rage right now.

Train for assault frigs and then go for HACs. If you're in an inty, you can join up for 0.0 fights.

Amarr hacs kinda suck. BC's are not too bad though. Evil god damned tanks on those things.
