Training Advice

FOG|Adrenaline

Veteran XX
Ok, I currently run two accounts, both of which I have been mainly focusing on leveling up to give me some steady income via R&D, but I'm nearing completion of that and I'm trying to plan the future.

Adrenaline Fog is the account I started from scratch. My plan for him was to make him a very good Interceptor pilot b/c it's a cheaper and faster way to get heavily involved in PVP. Plan is to train towards a Stiletto as the upcoming patch makes them pretty powerful.

Thor OfTheAsgard is the account that I bought. He already has Gallente BS5, Large Hybrid Turret 5.

I'm trying to come up with an overall plan of training for both. I'd like for them to complement each other as I will play them simultaneously at times when it's just me (not fleet ops). I've got a pretty good idea of how to move forward with Adrenaline. Intys and possibly Covert Ops for some exploration fun, but I'm really not sure what direction to take Thor.

Any suggestions? Should I go for HACs? Carriers? I really just have no idea. Also, what is the best way for me to use the two characters to complement each other?

Also, is it worth training L5 of the Small Turret stuff for Inty/Covert Ops pilots? They're not really damage dealers so is it a waste?

Thanks!

First off, you're a loser.
Secondly, Small guns are all you have if you're using inties. Train them to be effective. You don't just tackle battleships you know.
Third, you're a loser.

Use the BS character for large ships BS, T2 BS, Command Ships, etc. on up into capitals if you wish. Use the lower-skilled character for light ships-Intys, Interdictors, Recons, HACs, etc. I think you're on the right track already. I would definitely level up your weapon skills to 5, and then Specialization to 4.

Once you're good with the Stiletto, I strongly suggest your next train to be a Vagabond.

Just be prepared for a very expensive habit :D

Thanks for the input guys. I've been working on my learning/support skills and then my ISK-generating skills for so long it feels like I haven't progressed much in the combat arena. I'm looking forward to moving to 0.0 more full time and getting more involved.

It looks like you're already doing good.

The BS skills are necessary in fleet fights. BS's with t2 guns are near mandatory and add alot of PUNCH to our fleets, and TRI's once they decide who to pew.

WHen not slugging it out with teh big guy, running around in your FOG toon with an inty or, eventually, a HAC would be awesome.

To truly compliment each other, you'd need to 'dual box'. Running both at the same time while ratting would be nice, the fog character in a destroyer, salvaging, and the other toon ratting in a domi (make sure you start training up for t2 heavy drones, if not already trained)
