Yeah BoB does all their big ops on Fridays...no way they will patch then.
That may be it. The less cynical of us believe that CCP doesn't want to work Saturday to resolve post-patch issues.

It fixes the trading exploit, so it's a meaningful patch.

It was possible to set up a trade, and then amid the lag of a busy system change the conditions of the trade while the other person is accepting it. The result was that people were exploiting this and doing trades in Jita and the like, basically getting expensive stuff for free.
